Commitment to Community and Education

I am honored to run again for Wauconda School District 118 School Board in 2025. My wife and I are parents to three sons who have all graduated from Wauconda High School.

My professional background includes working in the Wealth and Retirement banking institution for over 25 years. I like organization and communication.

I value service and giving back to my community. I have been actively involved with leadership roles in the Scouts, Church, PTO, Bulldog Nation Foundation and the Wauconda Lions Club. I enjoy problem solving, and connecting people to work together.

I love my community, which motivates me to donate my time and expertise to the development of our students.

Organizations and Endorsements

I have proudly served on the Board of Education since 2019, demonstrating my long-standing commitment to the district's success.

My commitment to education extends far beyond official roles, as an active volunteer and leader in various school and community organizations:

BSA Scouts

Wauconda Lions Club

About Me

As a school board member, I believe that quality school learning experiences are the result of students, parents, families, community members and educators working together to strengthen our educational environment. Each student should be provided opportunities and skills to be successful, in school, at home, at work with a focus on post high school success. It is vital to work for fiscal responsibility, while pursuing other revenue possibilities. Having quality curriculum while addressing growing needs for our ever changing employment markets. Maintaining an atmosphere of life-long learning through the monitoring of District 118 improvement plans. Collaboration with other local government bodies to enhance programs for the students of District 118.

As a community member, I value hearing from others in our community. I find I can be more effective when I listen to feedback before drawing conclusions. I believe we as a community are responsible to educate the next generation with truth as a guiding principle. Parents need to continue to trust that the community is dedicated to the health and wellbeing of their children. Over the past fourteen years my School Board involvement has been dedicated to our D118 continued sustainable improvement, at a reasonable cost and to make sure our students, parents and community have a balanced influence over the educational components provided.
